Padres News: Petco Park Scoreboard Update
The process has been completed! That may sound like a football term with Super Bowl week but I’m talking about the brand new Petco Park scoreboard, which will be the third largest HD scoreboard in Major League Baseball. The scoreboard is finally complete!
Take a look in all its glory for yourself!
As you see, the entire old scoreboard has been covered by a brand-new HD scoreboard and should be second-to-none state-of-the-art scoreboard this side of AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
No word yet if this will be ready for this weekend’s “Monster Jam” or AMA Supercross later on February 7. The scoreboard should be ready in time for the April 4th FanFest and Opening Day on April 9th.

The Padres announced the plans of construction on November 6th, 2014 and construction began a week later. Since the latest panel was installed, the constriction took about a few months to complete.
Petco Park sure has had a busy few months during the construction process hosting the holiday event “Winter Wonderland” and recently the news of the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game coming to San Diego.
