The Padres television broadcast partner Fox Sports San Diego, has announced that they will televise 10 of the Padres spring training games this pre-season. Nine of the telecasts that Fox Sports San Diego will air will be from Arizona, The tenth and final one will be the exhibition game the Padres will play as part of Padres FanFest this year on April 4th, against the Mexico City Red Devils. I know for sure that I will be watching only the first nine games on FSSD, because I can’t wait to go to Padres FanFest again this year.

So when will the first game be televised you ask? March 8th at 1 PM Pacific Time when the Padres face off against the Colorado Rockies. Once again my favorite broadcast team will be returning to man the booth this year. Mark Grant and Dick Enberg will be calling half of the spring training games that will be broadcast on television. They will also call most of the games in the regular season as well. The team of Mark Grant and Dick Enberg is in my opinion, one of the best in the game of baseball. I had the honor to meet both of them last year at FanFest, and they are some of the coolest people, they were part of the reason that I had such a great day last year at FanFest.
If you read my latest article about FSSD airing a series called ” Sundays to Spring” which starts today, the network will be airing this six-part series leading up to their live broadcasts of the Padres spring training games in Arizona this year! Does this get you excited Friar Faithful? I know it certainly gets me excited for Padres baseball to be back. The series will be hosted by Mike Pomeranz and starts today at 8 PM on Fox Sports San Diego, Make sure to tune in to it. I can’t wait to watch it, especially because baseball season can never get here fast enough for me. Are YOU ready for Padres Baseball? I know I am, and it certainly looks like Fox Sports San Diego is too!
