There are my choices for offseason outfield predictions. The front office has some very tough decisions to make this hot stove season.
More from Friars on Base
- Jurickson Profar free agency update likely rules out Padres reunion
- Fernando Tatis Jr. may not take to outfield move after Xander Bogaerts addition
- Padres News: Fernando Tatis Jr. trade rumors, Seth Lugo chase, Manny Machado
- Padres barely missed out on high-end veteran starting pitcher
- This veteran DH target seems ideal for contending Padres roster
On the big club and in triple-A alone there could be some tough choices on what to do. When adding in the depth on the farm, this sure makes for a very fun winter ahead.
My next two articles in the offseason Series will cover the relief pitching decisions and predictions. My last piece in the series will cover my predictions for the 25-man roster at every level of the organization.
And a new version of my top 30 prospects list is on the way soon as well, since my last list there have been some considerable changes, some due to performance. While others have graduated off the list.
One thing is for certain this hot stove season: There will be a new look at every level of the organization. The number of prospects the front office has accumulated makes this off-seasons decisions and predictions harder than it has ever been. It will shape the franchise for title runs like sugar plums dancing in my head.
