Padres News: Spring Training Recap – March 15th
Yesterday, the San Diego Padres defeated the Texas Rangers 2-0 thanks to four scoreless innings from pitcher, Andrew Cashner.
Today, it was Ian Kennedy‘s turn on the mound as the Padres took on the Cleveland Indians.
Here was today’s starting lineup:
Kennedy threw three innings, giving up four hits and two runs. Robbie Erlin followed with two scoreless innings. Jose Valverde gave up two hits and two runs in the seventh.
Wil Myers (3-4) had an offensively productive day for the Padres. Wil scored in the first on a Matt Kemp double, then hit a solo home run in the fifth.
The Padres dropped this one in Goodyear today, 4-2. Tomorrow the Pads will face the Chicago Cubs in Peoria.
