Padres Got Power!

So what do the naysayers have to say about the Padres now? I’ll tell you what, they shouldn’t be able to come up with negative things to say about A.J. Preller and the Padres, and you want to know why? It’s because the Padres have upgraded their lineup with so many power bats that their lineup is a potential threat.

I mean for a team that ranked last in offense last season, adding three outfielders all with power, significantly helps an offense like the one the Padres had last season. So how much power do the Padres actually have at this point in time? Let’s delve into that shall we? The Padres potential lineup as of right now has Carlos Quentin, Seth Smith, Matt Kemp, Justin Upton, Will Middlebrooks, and last but certainly not least Wil Myers. That is six players who have the potential to hit one out each and every time they step up to the plate!

More from Padres News

So how can this help the Padres and get the naysayers off of their backs? By putting together a contending team, one which the Padres haven’t had since 2010 that’s how. Of course you know there is always going to be people who say the Padres still can’t contend or do anything, but those people are not true fans. The true fans realize when the team has a contending team, and when the Pads don’t have a contending team, however no matter what, the true fans always support their team no matter what. Get excited Padres fans!
