The Padres will look to keep their bats hot again tonight, as they come in to this game scoring 19 runs over the past 5 games. The Friars’ hitter to look out for is shortstop Alexi Amarista, who continues to stay hot, as he went 2-for-4 in last night’s 3-2 loss to the Rockies. The Rockies’ hitter to watch out for is Justin Morneau, who got 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but he also scored a run as well. The Rockies are looking to extend their win streak to 2 games, and the Padres are looking to get back into the win column, and try to finish their season only one game under the .500 mark.
This is the last match-up of the season between the two NL Western division rivals, and both the Padres and Rockies are looking to end 2014 on a high note after struggling thought most of the season heading into 2015. Any momentum gained through these last few days could carry over into next spring training. Get out to the ballpark tonight and enjoy one last hurrah for your San Diego Padres!
Keep the Faith.
