After allowing eight runs over a combined 15 innings in his first three starts, Stauffer held the Cubs scoreless on four hits over seven innings in near freezing conditions in Chicago on Monday night. Stauffer has struggled in his two previous starts against the Phillies, allowing 17 runs in 9 1/3 innings for a 16.39 ERA. Both those starts were at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Stauffer is 5-11 lifetime at Petco Park with a 3.64 ERA.
