The 2011 season has been a roller coaster year for the Padres, a team that, despite a fantastic 2010 year, had absolutely no expectations for greatness this year.

There are plenty of teams out there that will be on the prowl for a powerful right-handed bat, but the supply is not going to be able to keep up with the demand.
