The Pads have managed a 3-4 record since Monday as they continue to hover around the .500 mark, 7-8 on the year. The reoccurring theme for the week is the Padres failing to capitalize with runners in scoring position. The lack of an impact bat in the middle of the order is becoming increasingly obvious, as the offense has to get production from multiple players in order to be effective.
