"Terry Kennedy will return as the Padres Triple-A manager at Tucson while Shawn Wooten (low Single-A Fort Wayne), Pat Murphy (short-season Single-A Eugene) and Jim Gabella (Arizona Rookie League) will make their managerial debuts in the Padres system next season."

"Former Arizona State University coach Pat Murphy has been named as the manager for the Padres short-season affiliate in Eugene in 2011.Murphy, who was a special assistant in the front office last season, has won 1,000 games at the collegiate level and was the head coach at Arizona State from 1995-2009."

It’s too early to rule out Henry Blanco and Yorvit Torrealba, the two catchers who shared time with Hundley in 2009-10, but A.J. Pierzynski probably isn’t a fit.
