Yu Darvish mysteriously leaves Padres start vs Marlins early as fans panic

Unlike most of Yu Darvish's starts, his outing on Wednesday brought some unfortunate developments.

UPDATE: Darvish is said to have departed due to hamstring tightness. The Padres fell 9-1 to the Marlins and are 30-29 as they gear up for a series against the Kansas City Royals.

During the San Diego Padres' matchup with the Miami Marlins, things were already not going well. Miami managed to put up three runs early off of Yu Darvish, who clearly did not have his best stuff, and the Padres' offense had only responded with a solo shot from Ha-Seong Kim.

Unfortunately, the bad news did not end there as Darvish was pulled from the game suspiciously early and with a low pitch count. He was done after the third.

While there wasn't anything clearly ailing Darvish, his command definitely wasn't what we are used to seeing, especially recently during his 25 scoreless inning streak that got snapped by the Yankees.

Padres News: Yu Darvish pulled from game early vs Marlins

One cannot jump to any conclusions just yet. Darvish previously dealt with a neck injury earlier this season, but came back from it pretty quickly. From what Padres beat writer AJ Cassavell is saying, it seems like nothing is wrong, but we'll believe that when the postgame arrives.

Thankfully, the Padres' bullpen has been great, the offense has gotten a ton of help after theLuis Arraez acquisition, and Dylan Cease has paired very nicely with Darvish as a 1-2 punch at the top of the rotation.

Given that the most promising pitching prospect that San Diego has at Triple-A, Adam Mazur, has gotten roughed up since being promoted to the highest levels of the minors, here to hoping that nothing's wrong with Darvish.
