Padres Schedule 2024: Start times revealed for Opening Day, home opener, all 162 games

It's almost here, baseball fans. Spring training is just around the corner, which means the 2024 Major League Baseball season won't be far behind. Recently, MLB released the start times for every team's 162-game slate. With the Seoul Series set to kick things off for the 2024 campaign, the San Diego Padres have some interesting start times this season.

MLB has taken some of their top talent overseas in recent years, and the upcoming season will be no different. After the Padres and Colorado Rockies opened the 1999 season in Monterrey, Mexico, many international sites have hosted the inaugural game of the season.

Padres Schedule: When is Padres Opening Day?

This season, the Seoul Series will take place on Wednesday, March 20 at 3 AM PDT. That's right, Padres fans. Set your alarms and get your coffee ready, because the Friars are playing the Los Angeles Dodgers to open the 2024 season in South Korea.

Oddly enough, after two games in Seoul, the Padres will return stateside and complete their exhibition schedule with the Seattle Mariners. The two teams will play two games at Petco Park before San Diego plays their first home game of the regular season.

What time is Padres Home Opener?

After the Seoul Series and brief exhibition clash, the San Diego Padres will finally host their home opener on Thursday, March 28 against the San Francisco Giants. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:10 PM PDT. The Friars will face their NL West rivals three more times over the weekend with a night game on Friday (6:40 PM PDT), and back-to-back day games on Saturday (4:15 PM PDT) and Sunday (1:10 PM PDT).

As for some key games on the Padres 2024 schedule, Jackie Robinson Day will take place on April 15, with the Friars taking a trip to Milwaukee to play the Brewers. The Padres will be on the road at Kansas City for Lou Gehrig Day as well with a game against the Royals.

The 94th MLB All-Star Game will take place in Arlington this year as the defending World Series Champion Texas Rangers host the Midsummer Classic. The Home Run Derby will be held on Monday, July 15, with the All-Star Game on July 16.
