Now that the minor league regular season is in the rear view mirror for the affiliates of the Friar faithful, we will conduct a 25-man roster with the best of the recently completed season.

We will have a Lineup consisting of a starting nine which will include a Designated hitter, a four- man bench which will have a catcher, two infielders, and one utility option. A five-man starting pitching rotation, a seven-man bullpen which will include a swing-man, three middle relievers, two set-up men and one Closer.

This list will have familiar names from the mid-season list but will also have some new faces added that show just how much the season matters. This list was harder to complete than the mid-season addition for a few reasons. The two main reasons being injuries and promotions, however, you will see some players dropped from the previous list due to poor second half performances too.

Considering the San Diego Padres have the consensus number one farm system in all of baseball you will see plenty of prospects among the names on this team, but just to make this clear, this an All-Star team and not a prospects list.

More from Padres Prospects

All in all you will see nine different names from our first list. That’s a lot of turnover from just a few months ago, but it does show that the season and not just a month or the first half alone get you recognized.

Without further adieu, let’s meet our 2019 San Diego Padres Post-season minor league All-Stars.
