The San Diego Padres begin a two-game series with the Baltimore Orioles on July 29. Here’s how to watch the Padres vs. Orioles live, on TV and online.

The San Diego Padres and Baltimore Orioles will start their final inter-league series of the season on Monday. The Padres vs. Orioles game is the MLB’s Free Game of the Day, so find out how to watch online or live this evening, with July 29’s latest MLB live stream.

The Padres still haven’t won a series since the All-Star break, most recently having floundered against the San Francisco Giants over the weekend. They’ll look to sweep the O’s for their first series win since July 7, when they took three out of four against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

That feels like a very, very long time ago.

Facing the Orioles might be a good way to change the tides though. Baltimore is 35-70, second-to-last in the league with a .333 win percentage. They also rank in the bottom ten in all offensive categories across the league leaderboards. If the Padres are going to snap their series-losing streak, this is their chance to do so.

Chris Paddack is slated to help the Friars achieve that goal. The rookie is 6-5 this season with a 2.84 ERA and 0.895 WHIP.

He’s only two games removed from his almost-no-hitter against the Miami Marlins, where he went 7.2 strong innings with eight strikeouts, one walk, and one run allowed. However, he followed up with a five-inning start where he surrendered three runs against the New York Mets.

The Orioles, meanwhile, will start David Hess for the series opener. Hess hasn’t started a game since June 12, when he allowed four runs in four innings to the Toronto Blue Jays; he struck out three batters and walked four in that outing. He’s pitched in relief in two games since, surrendering three runs in three innings pitched. He’s 1-9 this season with a 7.15 ERA and 1.588 WHIP.

Will the Padres be able to take advantage and finally tally the series-win column against Baltimore? Be sure to watch the Padres vs. Orioles online, or watch live, to see how the series opener goes.
