The San Diego Padres take on the Colorado Rockies June 15 after a 12-inning game. Here’s how to watch Padres at Rockies live, on TV and online.
Saturday’s game comes after the two teams combined for more than 20 runs in a game that ended up lasting 12 innings. The Padres rallied from six runs down in the top of the ninth to force extra innings, and were able to secure a victory with another big frame in the 12th. It was a key win for the team, who came into the day having lost five in a row.
Now they’ll be hoping to put a winning streak together. Getting another victory on Saturday would guarantee San Diego at least a split of this crucial series with their National League West rivals, as they continue to target a wild card berth. Eric Lauer gets the start for the Padres, but he has a very frightening 21.00 ERA in his two previous starts at Coors Field. Unsurprisingly with that statistic, he has never won in Colorado.
Fans will have to watch Padres at Rockies tonight to see if Lauer can break that trend, and if the beleaguered Friars can build on what they started yesterday.
