The San Diego Padres conclude their series against the Philadelphia Phillies on June 5. Here’s how to watch Padres vs. Phillies live, on TV and online.

The San Diego Padres and the Philadelphia Phillies wrap up a three-game series today, so find out how to watch MLB online or live this afternoon to find out who wins the series.

After winning the first game in dominating fashion on Monday, San Diego lost the second game by almost as one-sided a margin Tuesday. That means whoever wins on June 5 will take the series. It also marks the return of Cal Quantrill, whom the Padres have called up yet again to make the start against the veteran Jake Arrieta.

That sounds like a bit of a lopsided matchup, pitting a seasoned starter for an NL East-leading team against the guy who keeps bouncing between the major and minor leagues while San Diego is firmly in third place.

On paper, it could be fairly even: Quantrill has a 5.14 ERA, but Arrieta’s ERA has risen to 4.80 in his last five starts. And no one in the Phillies’ lineup has faced the Padres pitcher, so maybe he can be a surprise and snag a valuable victory for the Swinging Friars. Watch MLB online and/or live to find out if the third time is the charm for him.
