The 2019 MLB Draft begins Monday and the San Diego Padres have the 6th pick. Here’s how to watch the MLB Draft live, on TV and online.
San Diego Padres fans won’t want to miss this year’s draft, so find out how to watch the MLB Draft online or live tonight, as the three-day event starts Monday.
The Padres will begin their draft with the No. 6 pick, behind the Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox, Miami Marlins and Detroit Tigers. General manager A.J. Preller also has five other picks but none come close to that rank: 48, 73, 84, 113 and a final late-round choice.
That means Monday night will likely feature the biggest move that the San Diego Padres are going to make. Georgia high school shortstop C.J. Abrams is the projected pick by MLB experts, although FanSided’s mock draft suggests the Friars could take Florida outfielder Riley Greene instead.
Will Preller add another outfielder to an already long list, draft another shortstop, or none of the above? Watch the 2019 MLB Draft and find out who’s joining the Padres’ already stacked farm system.
The draft is once again being broadcast on MLB Network, since it takes place at their studios in New York. However, only Monday will be available on TV; the other two days will be exclusively streaming online.
