Latest Friars On Base Petco Park Scoreboard Update

Ladies and Gentlemen: The first panel of the new #SDinHD board has been installed! Take a look for yourself!

As you can see, the field has been fully bulldozed to make room for the Monster Jam series coming up at Petco Park. This will be the first year that Petco Park has hosted these events after years of performing at out-of-date Qualcomm Stadium in Mission Valley.

The Padres should have the board fully operational by the time fan fest arrives on April 4^th. The Padres will host an exhibition game versus the Mexico City Red Devils the same day as fan fest and should be a great time to come out to the ballpark, not just for the new faces but the debut of this new HD masterpiece at the downtown gem!
