It was a team effort for the Chihuahuas as no player had more than 1 RBI. Carlos Quentin, who is on a rehab assignment, pinch-hit in the top of the seventh, flying out to left field. Chihuahua starter Keyvius Sampson pitched 7 innings of 1 run ball with 7 strikeouts earning his first win of the season.

Lake Elsinore’s offense could not help starter Colin Rea overcome his 3-run 2nd inning. The Storm’s only run came on an RBI double by B.J. Guinn scoring Luis Tejada from first. Lancaster starter Brian Holmes struck out 6 in 4 innings with Jamaine Cotton earning his 4th save on the season for the JetHawks.
