Happy New Year From Chicken Friars

Today the calendar turns the page and 2013 will be upon us shortly. 2012 had its up-and-downs for me personally and professionally but overall, it was not a bad year.

I am looking forward to continuing to run this website with Robert and the rest of the team. We work hard on this site and I firmly believe that Chicken Friars is poised for big things in 2013. We will continue to produce insightful analysis, in addition to entertaining you with stories and perspectives you cannot get anywhere else.

I would like to take this time to thank all of you from your support. I work and go to school full-time, so finding the time to work on this site is not always there. However, your comments and kind words keep me going. I personally do not care if I ever make a dime writing, I do it because I love sports and I love the Padres. Without you, the readers, we do not have a site.

Make sure you continue to spread the word about our little site. I truly believe we cover the San Diego Padres better than anyone. Cheers! Please stay safe and healthy in 2013. I love all of you!
