Padres Release 2013 Spring Training Schedule

Are you and your buddies planning to make your annual trip to Peoria for Spring Training? Then here is the Padres’ 2013 Spring Training schedule to help with your planning.  Be sure to mark these dates in your calendar!

This year will be the 20th year the Padres will be holding Spring Training at the Peoria Sports Complex.

Tuesday, February 12: Padres pitchers and catchers report.

Wednesday, February 13: Pitchers and catchers first scheduled workout.

Friday, February 15: Position Players are scheduled to report.

Saturday, February 16: First  full-squad workout.

Friday, February 22: The Annual Charity Game against the Seattle Mariners.

Thursday, March 14: The Padres will host a World Baseball Classic semi-finalist in an exhibition game prior to the WBC finals in San Fransisco.

In addition to these dates, the Padres will play two-exhibition games at the 65,000 seat multi-purpose Alamo Dome against the Texas Rangers on Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30

Tickets for all Padres games at the Peoria Sports Complex will go on sale Saturday, January 5 at 8:00 a.m. PT. Tickets may be purchased online at www.padres.com, by phone at 800-677-1227, or in person at the Peoria Sports Complex box office.
