Eugene Emeralds Unveil New Logo

The Eugene Emeralds unveiled their new logos for the 2013 season at a release party in Oregon tonight. Color me impressed.

The logo features a Sasquatch-type beast carrying a tree. The color keeps Eugene’s green color scheme, as well as incorporating some darker shades of color. The road uni’s will feature “Bigfoot” prints at the script. I love the new logo and I cannot wait to get my hands on a new Emeralds lid.

The team also announced that Eugene will host the 2014 Northwest All-Star game. The Northwest League has only held one All-Star game in league history, back in 2004. The event will also feature a fanfest and home run derby. The game will be reinstated in 2013, when the Everett Aquasox get the honor of hosting the game.
