Tucson 10(22-48), Reno 4: Tucson pounded out 17 hits, including 3 for Daniel Robertson(.336) and 4 hits each for Matt Clark(.296) and Anthony Contreras(.263). Bear Bay (1-3, 5.71 ERA) pitched five solid innings to get the win.

San Antonio 9(27-41), Midland 6: LF Jake Blackwood(.267) had a huge game, with 4 hits and 3 RBI’s. Double A All-Star catcher Ali Solis(.302) had a nice game as well, going 3-5. Top prospect Keyvius Sampson(3-7, 5.99 ERA) got the win, pitching 5 innings, giving up 2 earned runs.

Lake Elsinore (36-34) DNP- All-Star Break

Bowling Green 9, Fort Wayne, 3(31-39): Rough day all around for the Tincaps. Former #3 overall pick Donavan Tate  went 0-4, to drop his average to .194. Rising star Cody Hebner(6-3, 4.03 ERA) took the loss, and allowed 6 ER’s in 4 innings.

Yakima 7, Eugene 2(2-1): 3B Chris Burke socked his first professional homer, but also made 4 errors on the day. Eugene made 6 altogether. Em’s starter Justin Hancock threw 5 shutout innings, and got the no-decision.
