Ren0 8, TUCSON 7: Jedd Gyorko and Yasmani Grandal both homered in the loss for the Padres. It was Gyroko’s 14th of the year, and his 8th with Tucson. Jorge Reyes took the loss, as he gave up 7 earned runs in 6 innings.

SAN ANTONIO 6, Midland 2: Jonathan Galvez slammed his 3rd homer of the year, and Nate Freiman had 3 more RBI’s, giving him 55 on the year. Nick Vincent got the win in relief, and the Missions got a solid outing from Hayden Beard, as he gave up just 1 earned run in 6.2 innings.

LAKE ELSINORE 8, Bakersfield 4: Rymer Liriano had 3 more hits, and is now hitting .305 on the year. Shortstop Michael Wing had 3 RBI’s for the Storm. Matt Jackson got the win for the Storm, pitching 5 innings, and allowing 3 earned runs.

Bowling Green 1, FORT WAYNE 0: Slow night for offense, but Tincaps infielder Travis  had a pair of hits. Matthew Wisler was solid for the Tincaps, getting the no-decision, despite pitching 6 shutout innings. He lowered his season ERA to 2.34.

EUGENE 6, Yakima 5: It was opening night for the Emeralds, and they won in dramatic fashion, with a walk-off in the 10th. Clark Murphy slammed 2 HR’s and had 5 RBI’s for the Em’s.
