Thanksgiving came, we thanked. Christmas came, we gave. New Years is around the corner, we’ll make resolutions. But no holiday quite competes with the unofficial start of Spring Training. We’ll all still be looking ahead to the warmer weather of Spring and Summer, but Pitchers and Catchers will be heading to Peoria, Arizona to report for some early work. 54 days from now, we will be rescued from the continuous loop of football highlights, basketball highlights, and god-forbid, hockey highlights.
Bundle up, pull up next to the fire, or just go to the beach San Diegans. Do whatever you have to to pass the time. 54 days will go by quick. Before you know it, the Super Bowl will be over, the NBA will be getting on people’s nerves, hockey will be hockey, and people will be begging for some baseball.
