Three Up Three DOWN. Another Loss In Philly

Remember when we came off from the Florida series and were feeling proud of our sweep? Doesn’t that feel like forever ago?

Tonight we faced the Phils for the third game of a four game series and took another fat L. Tim Stauffer and Roy Halladay faced off in this battle. Stauffer had been pitching solid before he got to this start. Today he pitched 5.2 innings and gave up 5 runs. An outing like that just won’t get the victory.

Cameron Maybin had to leave the game early because of a strained hip flexor and it allowed Chris Denorfia to get into the game in centerfield. Norf made the highlight of the night with a spectacular catch to rob a homerun from Raul Ibanez.
