Update on Maybin’s Injury Status

At least there is no structural damage, but without him available the bench gets thin and the only backup outfielder is Eric Patterson on the team. Unless he is able to go fairly soon, it may be best for him to get rest on the DL while he recovers and bring up someone to take his spot.

It is interesting that Kyle Blanks got his first start in the outfield recently down at Double-A San Antonio. He may be a possibility for a call-up.
