Logan Forsythe and Blake Tekotte in today’s starting lineup

We all have been asking for it! We all have been hoping to see some of these kids from the farm get an opportunity to play while they are in the big leagues. Since the team is sitting at the bottom of the league standings, then we might as well take a look at what the future has in store for us.

Today, two of our young prospects will get an opportunity in the starting lineup against the Washington Nationals. Blake Tekotte will play centerfield and Logan Forsythe will play at second base. Yesterday, the team was only able to muster up 3 hits, so it was time to change some things up and hope for some better results.

Let’s hope that these kids swing some hot bats today and find ways into the starting lineup more often!
