Friar Minors – Rizzo and Decker go yard

Anthony Rizzo is continuing his tear through Triple-A baseball. Last night he hit his eight home run of the season and had another 3 RBI in the game to give him a total of 36. He went 3-for-4 in the game and is now batting .398 on the season. He helped the Tucson Padres win against the Tacoma Rainiers. If that kid keeps tearing the cover off the ball, he will see his time in the big leagues soon enough.

Jaff Decker down at Double-A is tearing it up also. He hit his 9th home run of the season in the Missions loss to Frisco. His 3 RBI in the game now give him 32 on the season.
