San Diego Padres 10 – Cincinnati Reds 7

W: Tim Stauffer (2-0)
L: Homer Bailey (0-2)
S: Dustin Moseley (1)

Tim Stauffer is proving to be the most consistent Padres starter this spring. He pitched 6 strong innings in his start and only gave up 2 runs on a home run by Juan Farncisco. Stauffer struck out four Reds in the start and he threw 81 pitches in the start building up the arm strength for the regular season.

Will Venable had a great game at the plate and was aggressive on the base paths. He had 2 hits and stretched one into a triple and another one to an inside-the-park home run.
