LeBlanc pitches better, but still gets the loss against Mariners

Wade LeBlanc has struggled pitching this spring and he has been competing to take the 5th spot in the rotation. Today, he pitched 6 innings and gave up 3 runs while striking out 5 in the game.

Brad Hawpe continued his strong spring hitting a homerun off of Erik Bedard in the 2nd inning. Chris Denorfia also continued his strong spring by adding a double and a single. The offense just was not able to put runs on the board going 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position. The only run was from the Hawpe bomb in the 2nd.
