On May 5th, the San Diego Padres Minor League team, Lake Elsinore Storm, will be hosting a Charlie Sheen night.
"As with any rehab assignment, we’re here to help Charlie embrace that ‘winning’ feeling. Also, as a show of support, we welcome all current cast and crew members to the ballpark that night for only two and a half cents. – Chris Jones, Vice President/General Manager of the Storm."
The event will be teamed up with their normal ‘thirsty Thursday’ promotion and they will offer $1 beers and Coke products, “tigerblood” cocktails and a 2-for-1 Ho Hos special. There will be an in-game taco eating contest along with a Rehab-style part on the Tiki Terrace.
The event will also include a limited edition Charlie Sheen bobblehead, a “Wild Thing” glasses give-a-away and a one-season retiring of number 99, from Sheen’s role as closer Ricky Vaughn.
Charlie Sheen and his ‘goddesses’ have been sent the invite as well. You have to love minor league baseball and their promotions. This sounds like a good time and I may be driving up the 15 to attend the festivities!
