The Frisco Roughriders defeated the San Antonio Missions 8-0.

It was a rough night for San Antonio starting pitcher Josh Geer, who let up 5 ER in 5 IP and took the loss, now putting him at (2-6).  Five different players for the Roughriders knocked in runs, and starting pitcher Luke Jackson pitched six scoreless innings with 4 Ks en route to his 7th win of the season. Cody Overbeck went 2-4 and hit his first double of the season, but there was not a lot of other excitement for the Missions’ offense. They were held to a meager five hits, while being shut out. Austin Hedges went 0-4 at the dish dropping his average to .254, but did throw out a base runner

The Missions will square off against the Roughriders again tomorrow where John Hussey (1-3, 3.54) will look to win the rubber match for San Antonio against Ryan Bores (1-3, 3.57).
