Chicken Friars Is Hiring Staff Writers

Are you a fan of the San Diego Padres?  Are you an aspiring sports writer with an interest in covering Major League Baseball?

If you answered “yes” to one or both of those questions, then I have some good news for you:

We here at FanSided.com’s San Diego Padres-themed blog, “Chicken Friars,” are looking to hire “staff writers.”

A background in sports writing is definitely preferred for a “staff writer” position here at “Chicken Friars,” but it is not necessarily required.  We are simply want to hire individuals who can write well-researched, informative, and captivating pieces on the Padres and baseball in general.

Although the “staff writer” positions are unpaid, they are a perfect way for one to get their “foot in the door” in the sports writing world.  As a network, FanSided is growing on a daily basis, and the sky is now the limit due to the network’s recent content partnership with Sports Illustrated.com.
