Richard’s injured shoulder may have been caused by poor mechanics as his work this year has been a catastrophe. I wish him well in his recovery.

He’s been particularly bad this year. I’ll be anxious to see who steps up in his place though. They do have Stauffer, Ross, and Bass (all former starters) to turn to on the roster if they want to put a right-handed pitcher in his place.

Or they could go with a left-handed arm in Erlin if they believe he is ready for another start or two at the big league level.

The Pads gave one away today with no hitting, a critical error and some bad umpiring. I hate to lose to the Dodgers.
