Chicken Friars’ Fans Would Rather Have Giancarlo Stanton Over Justin Upton

Whoa! The results weren’t even as close as I had thought they were going to be.

Because of the recent trade rumors that were circulating among the Padres, Giancarlo Stanton and Justin Upton,  I posted the following question in a poll last Monday: “Who would you rather have Giancarlo Stanton or Justin Upton?”

I like both players, and think both would look great in a Padres uniform. However, if it came down to trading for one of the two prolific players, I would have a hard time deciding who I want. Both players are really good.

Since I couldn’t decide, I left it up to you, the fans, to decide for me.

And here is how the Chicken Friars’ fans voted:

With 46 total votes cast, 42 votes or 91 percent of the Chicken Friars’ fans voted that they would rather have Giancarlo Stanton on the Padres over Justin Upton.

A surprisingly four votes, 9 percent of the Chicken Friars’ voters, voted that they would rather have Justin Upton or Giancarlo Stanton.

So there you have it. Chicken Friars Nation has spoken. They would rather have the 6’5, 245 pound Stanton over the 6’2″, 205 pound Upton.

Hey, you can’t go wrong with either guy.
