Yasmani Grandal Issues Statement Regarding Suspension

Yasmani Grandal broke his silence and released a statement regarding his suspension for use of the banned substance testosterone. Although the catcher does man up and “accepts responsibilty” for his actions, he offers no explanation for his failed performing enhancing drug test.

Grandal also apologizes for his actions:

“I apologize to the fans, my teammates, and to the San Diego Padres. I was disappointed to learn of my positive test and under the Joint Drug Program I am responsible for what I put into my body.”

Now Padres fans, I ask you, is Grandal’s apology sincere? do you forgive him? or do you hold it against him? Let us know in the comments below.
