Padres Pound Braves To Win Series

Where would the Padres be without Eric Stults? Stults put together another solid start, allowing just one unearned run in six innings of work. San Diego’s offense put the game away late, and the Padres emerged with an easy 8-2 win over Atlanta. The Padres have won 9 of their last 10 games, and won the series against one of the best teams in the National League.

The Padres jumped out to a lead in the fourth, scoring two runs. Logan Forsythe doubled in a run, and Cameron Maybin drove in a run with a ground out.
