Rockies Will Pick Up $1 Million of Huston Street’s Contract

According to Dan Hayes of The North County Times, the Rockies will actually pay Huston Street‘s $500,000 buyout after the 2012 season and will kick in an additional $500,000 towards his 2012 contract. In all, this saves the Padres $1 million on Street’s $7.5 million contract ($8 million with the buyout).
