This Time We Lock It Down

The last couple of nights we have had trouble securing the lead, but tonight the offense gave enough cushion for the bullpen. The offense was lead by Will Venable and his 4 hits. Venable was a homerun shy of the cycle, but its Will Venable, SO of course he was a homerun shy. Jesus Guzman still keeps on rolling in this hot streak and today he added 2 stolen bases, one was a steal of home.

Aaron Harang pitched 5.2 innings of ball and Buddy avoided putting in Chad Qualls today. He went with Bass, Spence, Gregerson and Bell to close out the game.

I really don’t want to head back to PETCO Park! This offensive stuff seems to give us a better chance at winning everyday!
