Break Out The Brooms, Padres Sweep The Fish

Padres 5 – Fish 3

The San Diego Padres brought their A-game out on the road to Miami! We swept up the Marlins today with more offensive fire power. Jesus Guzman added 2 RBIs and Cameron Maybin haunted his former team with 4 singles, 2 runs and 2 stolen bases.

Dustin Moseley pitched 6 innings and gave up 3 runs thanks to a Jason Bartlett error. The back end of the bullpen finished off the game without and problems. Both Mike Adams and Heath Bell retired the side in order with 2 strikeouts.

Winning is fun. Not sure if anyone is paying attention anymore though. We take on the Phillies next! Sweep anyone?
