San Diego Padres 5 – San Francisco Giants 3

The Padres did it again tonight. We beat the World Champion Giants for the second straight night. Last night we did it against Tim Lincecum and tonight we did it to Matt Cain.

Anthony Rizzo and Cameron were the stars at the plate for the Padres, bringing in all five of the Padres runs. Maybin had a 3-hit game and drove in 3 runs.

Tim Stuaffer evened his record at 5-5 by pitching 6 solid innings and handing it over to the bullpen. Chad Qualls, Mike Adams, and Heath Bell shut it down from there. Heater continued his high wire act approach in the ninth inning, but he picked up his 26th save of the season.

Tomorrow is game 3 of 4
