San Diego Padres 4 – Kansas City Royals

ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN!! We just have to keep on rollin! Winning against team we are supposed to win against!

The Padres went down at the top half of the first inning and struck back to score 4 runs in the bottom of the inning. Another surge of 2-out thunder for the team made the rally happen. The inning started with 2 runners on base, with Tim Stauffer reaching on an error and Chris Denorfia reaching on a bloop single. As usual, we got two outs without moving the runners. Ryan Ludwick bailed the team out by hitting a double to drive in the tying run. Anthony Rizzo then followed with a single to drive in 2 runs.

Tim Stauffer pitched his normal dominating performance and he has been standing out in the rotation with his play lately. He picked up his fourth win going 7 innings and striking out 6. Heath Bell picked up his fourth straight save and now has 23 on the season. He did it in drama filled fashion again, but do we expect anything less?

Great SWEEP and we are out of the NL West cellar. Start pointing and laughing at the Los Angeles Dodgers and hope that we can keep climbing the standings!
