Padres held scoreless in loss

San Diego Padres 0 – Colorado Rockies 3

The boys were unable to put a run on the board against the Colorado Rockies on Monday night at home. We looked like the Padres from earlier this season, leaving 11 men on base and going 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position.

Chase Headley was able to extend his hitting streak to 16 games in the loss. Clayton Richard picked up his 7th loss of the season, but he pitched a great game going 7 innings and only giving up 1 run and striking out 8 batters.

The Rockies pitching and defense just held the Padres in check on the night. The offense will have to step it up tomorrow against them Rockies.
