Cameron Maybin missing third straight start

Cameron Maybin was not in the lineup again today against the Atlanta Braves, missing his third straight start. The team is considering an MRI on his sore right knee.

Blake Tekotte has taken all three starts out in centerfield for Maybin during that time. It would be interesting to see who the Padres bring up if Maybin were to be sent to the DL.

Aaron Cunningham contributed to the big leagues last season and is batting .298 with 5 HR and 42 RBI at Triple-A Tucson.

An interesting option could be 1B/OF Kyle Blanks who is batting .293 with 2 HR and 24 RBI at Double-A San Antonio. The interleague schedule is coming up in a couple of weeks and Blanks would be a good option to use at DH.
