Ludwick leads Padres to second straight victory

San Diego Padres 5 – Washington Nationals 4

The team continued it’s road success with a win today against the Nationals. Ryan Ludwick led the offensive attack with 3 hits and 2 RBIs.

Blake Tekotte got his second start of the season and went 0-for-3 with 2 strikeouts and a walk.

Dustin Moseley started out the game and pitched 5 innings and gave up 2 runs in the first and an unearned run in the fifth. He left the game with the lead, but Chad Qualls was not able to hold it for him. Luke Gregerson picked up the win in relief and Heath Bell closed it out for the save.

The Padres got their 22nd win of the season and are a game behind the Los Angeles Dodgersfor fourth place in the division.
