San Diego Padres 2 – St Louis Cardinals 3

Another pitiful performance from the Padres offense tonight against the Cardinals. We were only able to get 2 hits in the game and only 1 after the first inning. Brad Hawpe was the only bright spot for the offense, hitting a 2 run shot out to center field in the first inning.

P Aaron Harang pitched 7 solid innings with 7 strikeouts and only gave up 2 runs to get a no decision. Ernesto Freiri gave up the LOSING run in the top of the 11th.

The Padres now have a record of 8-20 at home and need to get the win tomorrow afternoon to avoid the sweep. Hopefully we can pull it out tomorrow.
