San Diego Padres NOTHING – AZ D-Backs 6

We have heard this story before, our boys have been held to ZERO runs again. This is the eighth time that we have been held scoreless this season. We have been shutout in 25 percent of our games this year and it is just plain pitiful.

The D-backs only needed 2 hours and 22 minutes to put the game away today. We put together 6 hits in the game and were 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position. Just another day at the ballpark for the boys.

Dustin Moseley had his first poor outing of the year and giving up 6 runs in 5 innings of work. Moseley has been victim to a bunch of these shutouts. Evan Scribner saved the bullpen by pitching 3 innings of hitless ball in relief. Tomorrow is the rubber match and the series is tied at one. Do it for the Madres!
