Our Boys 7 – the Duds ZIP

Goodness gracious it has been a long time since we have put together a win streak of TWO in a row, but today the boys were able to get the job done! The bats came alive today to put up 7 runs! That is a total of 12 runs in the last 2 games! Who said that this team was TERRIBLE on offense? Brad Hawpe doubled his RBI total on the season with 2 RBIs today and Chase Headley added a pair of RBIs also.

A good game for the boys and I am sure that Dustin Moseley was ecstatic to get some run support from his team today. He gets his first win of the season and the pitching staff shut out the Doyers today, instead of our boys being shutout in a typical Moseley start. Moseley was a stud again and pitched 7 shutout innings and added 6 punchies to the stat line. The bullpen came in to finish the job for him in the 8th inning.

Its a feel good day and it’s a new month of May. Way to start it out right by taking 2-out-of-3 from the Dodgers.
