Can we make it 2 in a row?

It will be a chilly night out at Wrigley against the Cubs but the Padres are hoping that they can bring over their warm bats from Houston. The team had a season high in hits yesterday and are looking to continue the trend.

We have not won two games in a row yet this season (CORRECTION and I SUCK!!! we started 2-0 to start the season! It just seems so long ago!) and Tim Stauffer looks to lead us to the first winning streak of the season. He gets the start against Carlos Zambrano. Jorge Cantu is seeing more playing time at first and if he continues to hit, we could see Hawpe riding that bench for a while. Headley moves down to the 2 spot in the lineup with Orlando Hudson back in.

Here is today’s lineups:

RF Will Venable .159, 3 RBI, 3 SB
3B Chase Headley .269, 1 HR, 9 RBI
2B Orlando Hudson .300, 4 RBI, 6 SB
1B Jorge Cantu .176, 1 HR, 6 RBI
Nick Hundley .348, 3 HR, 9 RBI
LF Ryan Ludwick .125, 1 HR, 6 RBI
CF Cameron Maybin .250, 2 HR, 4 RBI
SS Jason Bartlett .167, 1 RBI, 3 SB
P Tim Stauffer 0-1,  4.80 ERA
